To save her baby from Pharaoh's cruel order, Moses' mother places him in a basket on the Nile River. Pharaoh's daughter finds him, and God turns danger into protection.

Moses, now a shepherd in the desert, finds a bush that burns with fire but is not consumed. There, God calls him to a mission that seems impossible: to free the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt.

On the most important night in Israel's history, God institutes the Passover and frees his people from slavery. After four hundred and thirty years, the journey to the Promised Land begins.
