Bernadette was a poor, sickly girl from Lourdes, in France. One day, near a grotto, she saw a most beautiful Lady dressed in white. So began a story of eighteen meetings, a spring that welled up from the earth, and a mysterious name.

After the apparitions, Bernadette wanted only a hidden life with God. She became a nun, suffered with patience, and died young. This is the second part of her story, from the convent of Nevers to the glory of the altars.

In the year 1917, in a poor village in Portugal, three shepherd children saw a Lady dressed in white, brighter than the sun. She carried a request for the whole world. This is how the apparitions of Fatima began.

On October 13, 1917, seventy thousand people gathered at the Cova da Iria, in the pouring rain, to see whether the three children's promise was true. What happened in the sky that day became known as the Miracle of the Sun.

After the Miracle of the Sun, the whole world wanted to know what Our Lady had told the three children. Little by little, the secret of Fatima was revealed: a serious warning, a story that touched even a Pope, and a promise of hope.
