Carlo was now 11 years old. His great project about Eucharistic miracles was taking shape.

He spent hours on the computer. Researching. Organizing. Creating.

Carlo was building a complete website documenting Eucharistic miracles from around the world!

It wasn't easy. There was so much information! So many countries! So many different languages!

But Carlo didn't give up. He loved what he was doing. It was his gift to Jesus.

Carlo's website was incredible!

He documented more than 150 Eucharistic miracles from all continents. Each miracle had:

- The complete story of what happened

- Photos and documentation

- The place and date

- Scientific evidence when it existed

Carlo organized everything perfectly. The website was easy to use. Beautiful. Professional.

And remember: Carlo was only 11-12 years old when he created this!

He didn't just make a website. Carlo created a physical exhibition too - panels that could travel to churches and schools around the world.

Carlo had a powerful phrase:

He wanted everyone to understand this. That Jesus is really there, waiting for us in the Eucharist.

Carlo's work began to spread. Priests heard about him. Parishes started using his exhibition.

"This boy is doing something extraordinary!" they said.

But Carlo didn't want fame. He would say: "Not I, but God!"

All credit should go to Jesus.

While working on his project, Carlo continued his normal life.

He went to school. He played video games (but never more than an hour!). He played with friends. He helped at home.

But Carlo also dedicated a lot of time to the poor.

He knew many homeless people in Milan by name. They were his friends!

Carlo brought hot food. He talked with them. Sometimes he'd sit on the sidewalk with them, listening to their stories.

"Why do you do this?" a friend asked. "They have nothing to give you!"

Carlo smiled. "Jesus said that when we do something for the least of His brothers, we do it for Him! Besides, they give me a lot - they teach me about gratitude and faith!"

Carlo also had great compassion for people who were far from God.

He prayed for non-believers. For people who had drifted from the Church. For sinners.

"We must pray especially for those no one prays for!" Carlo would say.

He offered his communions and prayers for the conversion of souls.

Carlo had a missionary heart. He wanted everyone to know Jesus. For everyone to be saved.

When he saw his friends doing wrong things, Carlo would gently correct them. Not with judgment, but with love.

"Jesus loves you so much!" he would say. "Why waste your life on things that don't truly make you happy?"

Some friends converted because of Carlo. They returned to the Church. They started to pray.

Carlo grew up. He became a teenager. He remained faithful to Jesus.

In October 2006, Carlo was 15 years old. He was a joyful, healthy young man, full of life and projects.

But then something happened.

Carlo began to feel ill. Very tired. With terrible headaches.

His mother took him to the doctor. They ran tests.

The news was devastating.

Carlo had leukemia - cancer of the blood. And it was an aggressive and severe form.

The doctors explained: the situation was very serious. Carlo would need intensive treatment. And even then, the chances weren't good.

The family was devastated. How could this be happening? Carlo was so young! So full of life!

But Carlo... Carlo accepted it with incredible faith.

"I offer my sufferings to the Lord," Carlo said calmly, "for the Pope and for the Church."

Carlo didn't ask "Why me?" He didn't get angry at God. He didn't despair.

Instead, Carlo offered his suffering. He transformed his pain into prayer.

Carlo was hospitalized. He began chemotherapy treatment.

It was painful. It made him nauseous. His hair fell out. He became very weak.

But Carlo never complained.

He kept smiling. Thanking the doctors and nurses. Being kind to everyone.

Carlo asked his mother to bring him the Eucharist in the hospital. He received communion every day, even when he was very sick.

"Jesus gives me strength!" Carlo would say.

He prayed the rosary. He talked with Our Lady.

The doctors and nurses were impressed. "We've never seen such a courageous young man!" they said.

Carlo asked the doctor: "How much time do I have left?"

The doctor, with tears in his eyes, said probably just a few days.

Carlo accepted it serenely. He knew he would soon be with Jesus.

"I'm not going to Purgatory," Carlo said calmly to his mother. "I'm going straight to Paradise!"

How could he know? Because Carlo had lived every day for God. He had confessed regularly. He had loved Jesus with all his heart.

Carlo asked to see a priest. He made his last confession. He received the Anointing of the Sick.

He was ready.

In his last days, Carlo thought of others.

"Mamma, when I die, donate my organs," he said. "If I can help someone, I want to help!"

He thought of his family. "Don't be sad! I'm going to Jesus! And I'll pray for you from Heaven!"

Carlo thought of his website. "Let the exhibition continue traveling," he asked. "Let it help people to love the Eucharist!"

Even dying, Carlo thought about how to serve God and others.

What extraordinary love!

On the morning of October 12, 2006, Carlo Acutis died.

He was only 15 years old.

His family was by his side. He went peacefully, with a small smile on his face.

Carlo went to Jesus. To the eternal Eucharist. To the Heaven he so desired.

Carlo's funeral was full of people. School friends. Poor people he had helped. Priests. Family members.

Everyone cried. But they also knew: Carlo was at peace. Carlo was with God.

But Carlo's story didn't end there!

His mother and others continued to spread Carlo's work. The exhibition about Eucharistic miracles traveled to all continents!

Thousands of people saw the exhibition. Many returned to the faith because of it. Many began to believe in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.

Carlo's website still exists and is visited by people from around the world!

And something even more incredible happened: people began to pray asking for Carlo's intercession. Asking for his help.

And miracles began to happen!

One case in particular was investigated by the Church.

In Brazil, a 6-year-old boy named Mattheus had a serious pancreatic disease. Doctors said he would die.

The family prayed asking for Carlo Acutis's intercession.

And the boy was completely healed! Miraculously! The doctors couldn't explain it!

The Church investigated for years. They confirmed it was a true miracle, without scientific explanation.

This miracle opened the way for Carlo's beatification!

On October 10, 2020, in Assisi, Italy - the city of Saint Francis - Carlo Acutis was beatified!

Thousands of people came. Young people from all over the world.

Carlo became Blessed Carlo Acutis. And now he's known as the "Internet Saint" or "God's Influencer"!

He's the first saint (blessed) of the millennial generation. The first saint who used modern technology to evangelize.

Carlo showed that you can be holy in the modern world. You can love Jesus and still use computers, play video games, be normal.

Today, Carlo's body is in Assisi, in a beautiful church. Thousands of pilgrims come to visit him.

He's dressed in his favorite clothes: jeans and sneakers. Like a normal young person.

Young people from all over the world visit Carlo. They pray asking for his help. They ask for advice. They seek inspiration.

Carlo has become the unofficial patron saint of programmers, modern youth, and all who seek holiness in the digital world.

Carlo's life teaches us so many things:

You can be holy being yourself. Carlo didn't pretend to be different. He loved normal things. But he used everything for God.

Technology can be used for good. Carlo used computers not to waste time, but to evangelize the world!

The Eucharist is our greatest treasure. Carlo loved the Eucharist more than anything else. Jesus in the Eucharist was the center of his life.

Holiness is joy. Carlo was joyful! Funny! Full of life! Saints aren't sad people.

Offer your sufferings. When Carlo became ill, he offered everything to Jesus. He transformed pain into prayer.

Carlo had a dream: that everyone would know and love Jesus in the Eucharist.

This dream continues alive. His exhibition has already traveled to more than five continents and dozens of countries!

Parishes use Carlo's material. Schools teach about him. Young people are inspired by him.

Carlo wanted to be holy. And he succeeded - at 15 years old!

Now, from Heaven, he continues to help. He continues to pray. He continues to inspire.
